Q. How do I register?
A. You can register by clicking here.

Q. What is the cost to register?
A.  The cost of registration varies depending on what type of company you represent.  Buyers (Retail, Wholesale, Distributor, Importer/Exporter) do not pay a fee to attend. There is a fee of $295 for Suppliers and Industry Members.  The fee for a Manufacturer of finished products is $1,500.

Q. Can anyone attend?
A.  Retail Buyers, Importers, Exporters, Distributors and Wholesalers are allowed access to all venues including The Collections at WSA and The Box at WSA. Suppliers and Manufacturers of Finished Goods are allowed access into the WSA show only.

Q. Can I bring my spouse/guest?
A.  A registered buyer can bring one spouse/guest.  Children, employees and industry members are not considered guests and must complete their own registration to attend. Guests must register on-site in the presence of the registered buyer.  Suppliers, Industry Members, Manufactures and other attendees may not bring a guest.

Q. Can I bring a business associate or employee?
A.  Business associates and employees must register themselves and provide the appropriate business credentials indicating employment in the industry.  

Q.  I would like to register several of my employees.  How do I register them?
A.  Each person must register and provide appropriate business credentials. They can register by clicking here

Q. What is business proof/credentials and how do I provide proof of business?
A.  Business proof varies depending upon your registration category.  Most registrants will be required to submit two forms of credentials including one personal form of proof indicating employment and a second form of business  proof (i.e. pro forma invoice) indicating that their company is involved in the footwear or accessories industry.  Upon completion of your registration, you will receive specific instructions for requirements and submission.  

Q. I am in the process of opening a new store and do not have the business credentials you require.  What do I do?
A.  You may be able to attend if you have leased/purchased real estate, have applied for your business license or have purchased footwear or accessories.  Upon completion of your registration application, you will be instructed to submit your credentials for review.  

Q. I just faxed my registration/business credentials and want to know if you have received it. 
A.  Please allow 5 business days for processing/review of your credentials.  You will receive a response via email (or fax if no valid email was provided).

Q.  I have attended WSA in the past, but cannot locate my name online when trying to register.
A.  First, be sure  that you are entering your name exactly as you registered in the past (ie nicknames, initials, etc.). Try entering your name various ways.  If you are still unable to locate your name and you have attended within the past 18 months, do not complete a new registration.  Please email registration@wsashow.com your name, company and address information and we will attempt to locate your previous registration.  Please allow 2 business days for review.  

Q.  I received an email stating that I was not approved to register as requested. What can I do?
A.  If you received this email, it is most likely that we have reviewed your credentials and have determined that you are qualified in a different category than what you originally registered.  Please follow the instructions for completion of your registration.  If you feel that this category change was made in error, please email your information and business credentials to registration@wsashow.com.  

Q.  I received an email stating that my registration category has been changed.  Why? What can I do?
A.  If you received an email indicating that we have reviewed your credentials and have determined that you are qualified in a different category than what you originally registered, please follow the instructions for completion of your registration.  If you feel that this category change was made in error, please email your information and business credentials to  registration@wsashow.com.   

Q.  I think I have already registered.  How do I confirm my registration?
A.  You can go online to https://www.compusystems.com/servlet/ar?evt_uid=250. Click "Already Registered for August 2010?" to search for a current registration for August 2010.

Q.  I registered but cannot attend.  Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
A.  Registration is not transferable as each registrant must complete a registration and submit credentials.  Registration fees, however, are transferable to an individual within the same organization.  Please email your request and registration details to registration@wsashow.com.  

Q.  How do I cancel my registration?  Is the registration fee refundable?
A.  Refunds will be considered until July 19, 2010, after which time no refunds will be issued.  Submit your request to registration@wsashow.com. Please allow 3 weeks after the show for processing.  A 50% processing fee applies.  

Q.  I registered but have not yet received my badge.
A.  You can expect to receive your badge in the mail if you register prior to July 19, 2010.  If you do not receive your badge prior to the show, please bring a copy of your registration confirmation to the pre-registration desk at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

Q.  I would like my badge mailed to a different address.
A.  Badges are mailed only to the current business address on file.  If you wish to have your badge held for pick-up onsite rather than mailed to you, please email  registration@wsashow.com. If you wish to change the business address on file, please send your credentials showing the updated business address to registration@wsashow.com.

Q.  I need to make a correction to my name badge.
A.  Please email the correction to registration@wsashow.com.  You can pick up your corrected badge at the pre-registration desk at the Sands Expo Convention Center.

Q.  I was a VIB at a previous show.  My registration badge does not read VIB.  What can I do?
A.  Please email you name, company and current registration ID number to registration@wsashow.com.

Q.  I am an exhibitor and need my username and password.
A.  Your username and password to register your personnel is the same as that issued to update your exhibitor directory listing.  If you do not know your username and password, the contact person for your booth can email registration@wsashow.com.

Q.  I am trying to register my exhibitor personnel but want to change the contact name and/or address. 
A.  To change the contact information, including the mailing address, for your booth, please log on to myWSA for exhibitors http://www.wsashow.com/homepage/mywsa_exhibitor_search. Please allow 3-5 business days for your registration information to be updated for your exhibitor personnel badges. 

Q.  How do I obtain an invitation letter in order to get my visa to enter the United States?
A.  Only individuals registered and approved to attend The WSA Show can request a letter of invitation.  Approved registrants will receive a confirmation letter with a link that allows the registrant to request a letter of invitation.

Q. I am not able to complete the request for Visa Letter of Invitation on the website.
A.  You will not be able to request a letter of invitation if your registration has not been approved.  Letters of invitation are issued only to approved registrants.  The approval of your credentials is required prior to submission of your request.  If you have additional questions, please contact registration@wsashow.com.

Approved registrants will receive a confirmation letter with a link that allows the registrant to request a letter of invitation.

You must include:

  • Participant's e-mail address
  • Participant's date of birth
  • Participant's job title
  • Participant's passport number and/or ID Number
  • City of U.S. Consulate for participant's interview

Q. Will my badge allow me access to WSA Seminars?
A.  All registered attendees are allowed to purchase tickets for WSA Seminars.  If you have not registered to attend the show, or if you have already registered to attend the show and wish to add seminars, click here.  

Q. Will my badge allow me access to the WSA, The Box and The Collections at WSA? 
A.  Retail Buyers, Importers, Exporters, Distributors and Wholesalers are allowed access to all venues. Suppliers and Manufacturers of Finished Goods are allowed access into The WSA Show only.
